This food is probably the best authentic Mexican food in the area. The food is always hot, delicious, and beyond satisfying! The staff is so friendly. They are surprisingly efficient and calm when it is busy too, which is quite often. The prices are fair; everything around us has gotten more expensive, but I feel like they’ve kept the prices affordable. Our family has been getting food here since the beginning, when they were parked in the Family Dollar parking lot. The street tacos are my favorite! I love that the staff is also bilingual. El Malecon will always be my go-to for Mexican food.

husband and I have been ordering from here for over 6 years, and it’s by far our favorite authentic Mexican food!! Always quick service, and the staff is polite and thorough! We’ve never had a mistake in any order and always, always recommend this place to anyone that hasn’t tried it yet! I was a vegetarian for 18+ years, and the staff always modified my meal requests with no complaints. We feel incredibly fortunate to live less than 5 minutes from the best Mexican food in Akron!!

Great food, great service. Been getting street tacos since 2019, at least back when they were parked at Family Dollar!! It’s been great to see this family and restaurant grow and build, but still hold on to the roots of “the taco truck on the north side!!! I hope for many more successful years!!!
